Jalen Green With Dunk of the Year? Rockets’ Tari Eason Has Hilarious Animated Reaction Over Teammate’s Slam On Cade Cunningham – ‘That’s A Coffin’

Cade Cunnigham and Jalen Green, the 2021 first and second pick, respectively, crossed paths again with the latter’s Houston Rockets coming out with a win over the Detroit Pistons.

There is a bonus for Green as he also came away with most impactful play over the person picked over him, something many exaggeratedly brand as Dunk of the Year.

The dunk became a trending topic on X but none would top the reaction from Green’s own teammate Tari Eason.

“That was ridiculous. On his head top. On his nugget. That’s a coffin,” Eason said post game.

Eason was named the player of the game, contributing 18 points from the bench.

Green chipped in 15 points aside from the thunderous dunk while Alperen Sengun listed a double double of 27 and 10. Cunningham had 26-8-9 but that was not enough for the team as their visitors walked away with a 101-99 victory.

This is not just an ordinary game for Green. He has spoken many times before how he comes out with a greater energy whenever facing Cunningham and the Pistons.

During their rookie year, Green always chirped with Cade and he said it is largely about the fact that he was passed up as no. 1 pick in the draft.

“I’m sorry for y’all. I’ma keep working, keep perfecting my craft. Every time I step on that floor, Detroit especially, I’m coming,” he said.

“Yeah, obviously I feel some type of way that I went No. 2 and I feel I should have been No. 1. But it’s all good. We’ll show (Tuesday). It’s going to be a good game. No. 1 vs. No. 2. That’s what people are going to be looking for.”

The two met just two times mainly due to the injuries to Cunningham.

The Detroit franchise player, however, got Green’s numbers. Cunningham has more points, rebounds, and assists than the Rockets guard.
