Former New York Giants star Eli Manning recently showed of a signed New York Knicks memorabilia signed by two of the franchise’s stars.
In a post on Instagram, former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning showed off a souvenir he grabbed from his recent guesting at the “Rommates Show” podcast, which is hosted by Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.

In his post, Manning showed off a basketball signed by Brunson and Hart, in a selfie he shared with his young daughter.
“Caroline and I love a Block Party,” Manning wrote.
Manning spent all 16 seasons of his NFL career leading the New York Giants, cementing his legacy at MetLife Stadium just across the Hudson River while making the city and its suburbs his home away from the field. In multiple instances, he even defeated the Patriotos led by Tom Brady.
While Manning has since retired fro professional football, his nephew Arch is posing to take on his footsteps as the latter is currently a starting quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns.
Eli Manning Gives Arch Social Media Advice
Eli Manning took the opportunity on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast to dispense off-field wisdom to his nephew, Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning.
During the wide-ranging interview, host Big Cat highlighted the contrast between Peyton Manning’s technical football guidance and Eli’s more life-oriented counsel. It was in that spirit that Eli offered a pointed warning about the pitfalls of social media for college athletes.

“I’ve even said, don’t take a picture if you’re in a bar and there’s just drinks around,” he explained. “You don’t even have to have it in your hand. Never take (a picture) with it in your hand. And it’s like a built-in excuse to not take a picture.”
Manning even recalled instances where he disallowed photo ops at bar events due to his stated reason.
“I used to say, team rules, we’re not allowed to take a picture where alcohol is served,” Manning added. “Team rules. I still use it to this day. I’m like, ‘Ah, team rules, in a bar, can’t take a picture!’ People are like, ‘Oh, you’re on a team?'”
He recognized the viral might of one photograph, and confessed he learned the hard way after that blurry, drunken stint made its way around social media: By avoiding any moment that could be seized upon as a photo opportunity when alcohol is included, athletes can avoid controversy that will detract from their on-field acclaim.

Eli Manning has played 16 seasons throughout his NFL career, all of which were with the New York Giants.
