The Mecca of Basketball is not representing itself well right now and Josh Hart did not mince words in describing how his New York Knicks is playing right now.

The Knicks stumbled to their fourth straight loss and they have been free falling since a month ago when they won the NBA Cup. Their latest loss was at the hands of Dallas Mavericks at the Madison Square Garden.
“We all need to do some soul-searching. Some looking in the mirror. Right now we’re playing embarrassing basketball. We’re not executing on the offensive end,” Hart told reporters after the game.
“Defensively, we’ve been abysmal. We’ve been terrible defensively all year.”
Knicks scored less than 100 points in the last two losses. They started the year with four straight losses before getting one against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Mike Brown agrees with Josh Hart
Brown is very vocal about how they have been. When they were booed by their own fans, he thought they deserve it.
He preached about effort and now, he has to repeat it.
“You’re gonna have a game when you lay an egg, and we laid an egg,” he said.

“We didn’t do anything right on both ends. I thought tonight, actually, both halves, we tried to play the right way for the most part offensively. I think we missed more lay-ups, and we lost the ball more than I’ve seen since I’ve been here.”
Next for the Knicks are the Brooklyn Nets. They continue to be in second place in the Eastern Conference standings although Boston Celtics are breathing on their neck.
