The Sacramento Kings’ 124-112 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on January 12, 2026 delivered more than just on-court drama. Footage showing rival fans taking their beef to a Sacramento parking garage, throwing hands at each other, resembles a very infamous incident from last year.

The post-game scuffle came after DeMar DeRozan dropped 32 points and Malik Monk hit seven triples to hand the Lakers their third straight L. But the real action went down off the hardwood, where tensions boiled over into a full-blown brawl that’s drawing comparisons to the heated Luka Doncic-Dennis Schroder tunnel incident.
Lakers Fan Trade Weak Punches to Kings Fan in Parking Garage
In the viral clip, a Lakers supporter, dressed in all white with a purple and gold jersey and hat combo, can be seen squaring off against a Kings fan in a Sacramento parking garage. Both dudes keep their extra gear and put their extra stuff over a nearby SUV before getting engaged in an absolute brawl.
The exchange looked more like a sparring session, according to the community. Both of them mostly dodged each other’s weak punches, creating an awkward dance that had viewers cracking up at the lack of contact.
Rather than a real fight, it played out like an unusual comedy sketch rather than a genuine beef, which reportedly occurred in the tunnel between Doncic and Schroder.

Reports described Schroder confronting Doncic nearly 40 minutes after the final buzzer at Crypto.com Arena after their December 28 game, resulting in a three-game suspension for the Kings guard.
Doncic had been calling Schroder the B-word for a while, going back to their Olympic matchups. The trash on the court got personal when Doncic mocked Schroder for turning down a four-year, $84 million Lakers extension in 2021.
It ultimately escalated into the tunnel, where Lakers center DeAndre Ayton stepped in to separate the two guards before Schoder attempted to punch Doncic.
Fans React to Dumb Lakers-Kings Fans’ Parking Garage Spectacle
Fans wasted no time roasting the parking garage brawl for the lackluster punching technique because, for many, it looked less like a brawl. Still, a lot of people thought it was similar to the cold-blooded tunnel incident, though no video of that has ever been released.
One fan wrote, “After 3 punches they are out of breathe.”
Another fan added, “Damn lakers fan took two L’s.”
A third claimed, “Shout out Dennis Schroder.”
The fourth shared, “See what Dennis Schröder & Luka Doncic have started.”
Given the reactions, it is safe to say that the Schroder-Doncic beef has set the tone for Lakers-Kings rivalry intensity this season. The irony? Fans are trying to find that same tension in a hilarious brawl inside a parking garage.
