Kris Dunn got out of the Utah Jazz but he can never run away from Luka Doncic.
The Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers met on Tuesday for the NBA Cup and as expected, the two rivals brought out the fireworks but none brighter than what Doncic brought out after he posted 43 points, 9 rebounds, and 13 assists to lead his team to the victory.
That statline probably reminded Dunn of the time when they were owned by the Lakers star who was still part of the Dallas Mavericks then and him with the Jazz. In that game, Luka posted 40-10-11 and recorded his triple double in the first half while they dominated Utah by 50 points.
It was a boring game but one thing that made it exciting, at least on the part of Mavs fans was the fight between Dunn and Doncic even if the match was already over.
Luka insisted that he was not instigating anything and then dropped one of the most savage quotes in NBA history.

Fast forward to 2025, looks like there’s no love lost between the two as Dunn appear irritated again by Doncic. The latter said he is not afraid of anybody.

Doncic got Dunn’s numbers again and it is way worse for him on X as many thought it is now just a one-sided beef and he is only mad because his a** is getting busted.
