The Cleveland Cavaliers extended the winning streak to 11 on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, with a final score of 129-122. The Cavaliers stopped the Western Conference’s top-seeded team’s 15-game winning streak while extending their own.

It was a classic show of power between the two top teams of each conference. The Thunder, although they suffered their sixth loss of the 2024-25 NBA season, did not back down. All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished the game with 31 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.

For the Cavs, they kept everyone involved to capture the win. Their leading scorer of the night was Jarrett Allen, who had 25 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and three steals. Allen shot 81.8% from the field and 70% from the free-throw line on 10 attempts.

His frontcourt mate, Evan Mobley, was also important to their win. The power forward had 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Like Allen, he was efficient during the game and made 61.5% of his field goals. All-Star guard Darius Garland took control of the team’s pace with his 18 points and seven assists on 46.7% shooting.

After the game, the duo of Allen and Mobley became the first frontcourt duo to record 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and 6+ assists since Tim Duncan and David Robinson in 1998. The starting center spoke about the patience he and the young forward have for each other, making their tandem work.

“We’re willing to try it, we’re willing to grow together,” Allen said about. “It was a learning curve. Stuff like that just doesn’t happen overnight but Evan and I are willing to work together and try to find the best thing that works.”

The Cavaliers are now 32-4 in the season and look to extend their win streak on Thursday against the Toronto Raptors.

The Cavaliers keep on winning this season and have shocked the fans with their victory over the Thunder.

“sheesh cavs on demon time fr🔥,” one fan said.

“Love when a game lives up to the hype,” another fan commented on how entertaining the game was.

“This is what a real team looks like, not controlled by one person shooting middies and aura points,” a fan said.
