Fans Can’t Get Enough of Stephen Curry’s Perfect Night Shooting the Basketball Against the Sixers

Stephen Curry took care of business and led the Golden State Warriors to a 139-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday. The Sixers’ defense couldn’t do anything as the Warriors star finished the night with 30 points, six rebounds and 10 assists. His shooting from the 3-point range was perfect as he shot 8-for-8.

Curry has been struggling lately, including an 11-point game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. The Warriors star had a lowly 3-for-11 from downtown and 4-for-14 from the field. Days before that, the two-time MVP had a 10-point game on Dec. 23 against the Indiana Pacers. The four-time champion shot 22.2% from beyond the arc.

After those games, Curry found his outside stroke and made the defense pay. With his outstanding shooting from deep, he started the Warriors’ 2025 on a high note. This season, Golden State’s star player isn’t having the best numbers as he’s averaging 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists.

The 10-time All-Star didn’t carry the team by himself as Jonathan Kuminga helped with 20 points off the bench. Kuminga also had five rebounds and five assists in the win. Veteran big man Draymond Green had an all-around game with 15 points, six rebounds and seven assists. The Warriors star performed well on the defensive end with his three blocks.

The Warriors are now 1-0 against the Sixers this season. Overall, Golden State will play against Philly two times this season. Their next game will be on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies, a team they’ve played twice this season with a 1-1 record. Stephen Curry and his squad will play against the Grizzlies four times this season and look to take a 2-1 advantage after tomorrow’s game.

Fans can’t get enough of Stephen Curry’s hot shooting night

Stephen Curry’s hot shooting night silenced many doubters on Thursday. However, it awakened his fans, who made noise on X (formerly Twitter).

“8/8 3s?! Greatest Shooter of All Time can’t miss today!” a fan said,

“December is over and the GOAT is back! 🔥,” another fan said.

“Classic Steph Curry performance 🫡,” one fan commented.
