Flau’Jae Johnson, LSU Tigers’ guard, dropped her take on the whole, Jimmy Butler leaving the Miami Heat situation. While nothing is official as of yet, there are rumors going around that there are many tensions between Butler and the Heat, with the player apparently requesting a trade after his suspension.
Flau’Jae Johnson, who is also pursuing a rap career apart from smashing it on the hardwood floor, is freshly coming off a win for the Tigers against the Vanderbilt Commodores. With Johnson leading their offense, the LSU Tigers are currently ranked no. 2 in the Southeastern table with a 4-0 conference score and 19-0 overall. The Tigers are just one spot below the ruling South Carolina Gamecocks in the table.
“He wants out of Miami, and the Heat suspended him. Is there a team I want to see Jimmy play? Jimmy could go anywhere and make an impact. Aren’t they trying, when they suspend him, to try to make it seem like he just got a bad rep and try to make his money go down when he go to another team? I feel like that’s the business of it, that’s what they would do, especially if he being very vocal about it. Like they going to have the upper hand and try to write that whole narrative.” Flau’Jae Johnson said in the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ podcast on Thursday.
After their victory against the Vanderbilt Commodores, Flau’Jae Johnson and the rest of the LSU Tigers are gearing up for their next game against the Florida Gators. In the ongoing college basketball season, Johnson is averaging about 20 points in each game, with 6.2 rebounds in every matchup and 2.9 helpers per clash.
