“Comical”: Flau’Jae Johnson Speaks Out On Mikaylah Williams’ Exclusion In ‘Next Generation’ Documentary

Flau’Jae Johnson was certainly not happy with the ‘Next Generation’ documentary series choosing to avoid her teammate, Mikaylah Williams. In the docu-series, JuJu Watkins from the UConn Huskies, Audi Crooks from the Iowa State Cyclones, Hannah Hidalgo from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Madison Booker from the Texas Longhorns will be featured.

However, with the series excluding Mikaylah Williams, Johnson commented on the trailer on the social media platform X, (formerly called Twitter). Williams has been playing for the LSU Tigers since 2023, after shining in her high-school basketball career in Parkway, Louisiana. In this college basketball season, Williams is averaging 17.5 points in each game, with 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in every matchup played.

“This Mk exclusion is getting comical,” Flau’Jae Johnson commented on a trailer by NCAA March Madness’ X handle.

Mikaylah Williams is the third-highest scorer for the LSU Tigers in this college basketball season, while Flau’Jae Johnson is the lead scorer with an 18.9 point average per matchup. Aneesah Morrow is second in the list, chalking up 18.2 points per game. Along with Johnson and Morrow, Williams was recently named to the first-team All-SEC on Tuesday.

Flau’Jae Johnson Happy With Serena Williams Buying Toronto Tempo WNBA Team

Flau’Jae Johnson had plenty more reason to be happy other than being named to the first-team All-SEC on Tuesday. Johnson dropped her surprised reaction to the news by Savanna Hamilton that Serena Williams has taken ownership of the Toronto Tempo, Canada’s first WNBA team.

“Legend” Flau’Jae Johnson tweeted in response to Serena Williams taking ownership of the Toronto Tempo.

This is of course not the first sports business that Williams has taken an interest in. In addition to her newly acquired Toronto Tempo, Williams also has ownership stakes in the Miami Dolphins, the Los Angeles Golf Club and even the Angel City FC.

Not only Serena Williams, but her husband Alexis Ohanian has also taken a deep interest in women’s sports. Last year, Ohanian invested in a new project called ‘Athlos’, a track and field meet which is fully focused on boosting women in sport. He has also invested in women’s soccer along with his wife Serena Williams.

Flau’Jae Johnson is truly right for calling Serena Williams a legend, for the retired tennis player, has not only been legendary in her sport, but also off the court. Meanwhile, Johnson’s fans will have to wait to see her in action after it was recently announced that the player would miss the SEC Tournament as a result of a shin inflammation.
