There are only two players left in the Milwaukee Bucks squad that won the 2021 NBA title – Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis. They lost three of them this year namely Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, and Pat Connaughton.

Middleton’s trade to the Washington Wizards was the one that was polarizing among Bucks fans. Milwaukee got Kyle Kuzma in exchange for the three-time All-Star and with the former’s struggle in the playoffs, fans can’t help but miss K-Midd.
Middleton posted a photo of him in Wizards uniform to celebrate his 14th year in the NBA and among those who were quick to comment was the Greek Freak.
“Damn 😢,” he wrote.

It’s just one word and an emoji but some Bucks fans felt Giannis represents all of them.
“We all miss khris,” said one commenter.
“Bring him back and the return to moisture on the forum 😢,” another user commented.

Middleton spent 11.5 seasons with the Bucks and was instrumental in turning the franchise around from a 14-win club in his first season in Wisconsin. He earned three All-Star Game honors and was the Bucks’ designated clutch shooter.
He will go down as one of the greatest players to don a Bucks jersey.
Giannis Antetokounmpo likes current Bucks squad
There are calls for the Bucks to bring back Middleton but that won’t happen anytime soon. For now, Antetokounmpo is feeling good about the teammates he got.
“We certainly don’t have a lot of experience, but we’re young; we have legs, fresh legs. We got a really good big man,” Antetokounmpo told Haris Stavrou of Greek outlet Sport 24.

He is especially praiseful of Myles Turner who they acquired last July from the Indiana Pacers and will be their de facto second star. He said this signing is incredible.
“He’s one of the bigs that we can fit so well together. He’s one of the best bigs in the league….So, I’m very excited for him. I think that was an incredible move.”
