The Milwaukee Bucks got back to winning ways after tripping the New York Knicks at the Fiserv Forum, led by MVP numbers from superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak scored 37 points in the victory and added eight rebounds, and seven assists. He also had help from Ryan Rollins who recorded his career high of 25 points on 8/11 shooting.

They trailed by 12 points entering the third quarter and that’s when Antetokounmpo and others turned a switch to stage a comeback and win that quarter 35-20. The entire Fiserv Forum went crazy in the third and that’s also when one of the more memorable moments took place.
That is when Antetokounmpo blocked Mikal Bridges with around 7 minutes left and proceeded to dunk the ball from a miss by Gary Trent Jr. Lip readers thought he addressed the crowd there and shouted “This is my city.” He also allegedly told the crowd that “I don’t F with New York.”
Knicks was the team being linked to Antetokounmpo days before the season started.
Talking to reporters post game, he said he was extra motivated in this game as he remembers how the Knicks swept them last season.
“They swept us last year. Swept us. They were way better than us last year,” he said.

“And we didn’t make it tough for them. It was very easy, in my opinion. And as the leader of this team, I remember. I don’t forget things and I try to – from early at shootaround – set the tone for the team and try to remind them, “Last year, they swept us. Same as the Cavs.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo addresses Shams Charania reports
Knicks are the ones heavily linked to Giannis and he probably marked this date. Questions about this trade rumor came up as expected and the Greek Freak said he does not deal with it.
“I don’t remember that. Right now, I’m here representing my team. And that’s it,” he said.
Instead, he praised his teammates for their effort coming off a loss to another East contender Cleveland Cavaliers. He specifically gave props to young guard Rollins who he said has been hard at work together with Rajon Rondo.

“That’s important. That’s why you see it translate to the game,” Giannis told reporters.
“He’s a very very hard worker, he plays hard, he loves the challenge i think he has a great competitive spirit, but at the same time he’s a student of the game.”
Next up for Antetokounmpo and company the visiting Golden State Warriors who are just coming off a dominant victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
