There are a lot of doubters about Milwaukee Bucks’ 2025-26 season after the team embraced heavy changes, to the point that they believe it will leave Giannis Antetokounmpo dissatisfied that he will eventually leave the team.

Shams Charania recently reported that it was the superstar himself who floated the idea that he has thoughts of the leaving the Bucks and one team he is interested to join are the New York Knicks.
That’s not what the Greek Freak is feeling right now after their win over the Chicago Bulls. The two-time MVP made his debut in the pre-season after sitting out the first two games and also the media day after contracting coronavirus while he was in Greece.
Antetokounmpo posted 13 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists in 21 minutes of play. Six players scored in double figure in that exhibition match. Giannis is joined by new acquisition Myles Turner who had 19 points on five threes. Kyle Kuzma also had 19.

AJ Green, Gary Trent Jr. and Ryan Rollins had a combined 38 points while projected starter Kevin Porter Jr. had seven points and eight assists.
Giannis Antetokounmpo wants them to shoot more threes
The team shot 48 three pointers in that game and made 20. That is what Antetokounmpo wants them to do moving forward.
Talking to reporters post game, he commended the team for the way they created shots for each other through spacing.
“The spacing is good,” Antetokounmpo said via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “The spacing is good. It can get better. It can get better. But we are good. We are in a good place.

“To create 45 threes and lot of them were wide open, it’s in a good place. But you just gotta keep on sharpening your tools and keep on working on it because you’ve got to go through it for 82 games. this team it’s going to be an every night team effort.”
Right now, critics are still skeptical about the Bucks’ season, ranking them 6th or below in Power Rankings.
