The Milwaukee Bucks-Indiana Pacers rivalry is one of the fiercest in recent years and it will only get more intense once they meet again following Myles Turner’s ‘betrayal of the latter by joining the Deer District. Bucks win the summer as Giannis Antetokounmpo thought they got the version of Turner that was raised well by the Pacers.

Turner played his first official game for the Bucks on Wednesday in win against the Washington Wizards and he recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. He also had a great dunk at the start of the game that sent fans wild. His most incredible statline was his four blocks in the first half.
For the Greek Freak, his impact to the team was not seen on the statsheet. He thinks Turner moving well even without the ball made their life easier. He thought it is because of the winning culture he experienced with his former team.
“I’ve said this: This comes from a winning culture. I don’t think he knows that he’s doing that,” Antetokounmpo said.
“It’s just a habit that he’s created because he’s played in an incredible system for a lot of years, and he understands that movement is dangerous.”

Turner played all his first 10 years in the league with the Pacers which reached NBA finals last season and lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He left them as he thought he was being under-appreciated.
Myles Turner is a new leader for Bucks
The Bucks spent the summer letting go some of the older players in the squad. Among them are Damian Lillard (waived), Brook Lopez (free agent), and Pat Connaughton (traded to Charlotte Hornets). In February, they shipped Khris Middleton to Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma.
Milwaukee is a young team now and they needed another leader other than Giannis. Turner is stepping up for the role and Antetokounmpo is impressed/
“I hear him all the time on the bench when the other bigs are out there, like Jericho (Sims) or Bobby. He’s like, ‘Come on, go get him! Go get him!’ And when I notice stuff like that, I realize it comes because when you’ve been around a winning culture for a lot of years, you create good habits,” he said.

“I don’t think he knows that he’s doing it, but we notice because it’s something new for us.”
Bucks are being doubted heading into the new season Antetokounmpo and the whole squad are confident. Head coach Doc Rivers said Turner has a great fit with his star player and that they will do damage in the league soon.
