Milwaukee Bucks coaches and players are trying to keep their focus on the ongoing season amid all the trade rumors and drama involving their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. There are reports that there is now tension in their locker room and that it will only leave them if the Greek Freak addresses the rumors himself.
He did on Thursday but people think it is still not enough.
Antetokounmpo said he is not aware of the reports making rounds but he clarified he is not the one talking to teams but his agent Alex Saratsis.
“I didn’t hear about the report,” Antetokounmpo he said in a press conference before their game against the Toronto Raptors.
“Again, if my agent is talking to the Bucks about it, he is his own person. He can have any conversation he wants about it. At the end of the day, I don’t work for my agent; my agent works for me.
“And there’s going to be conversations that are going to be made between him and the Bucks, and him and his other players, and him and other teams and other GMs, executives around the league. It’s something that you can’t control.”

The Greek Freak’s name on trade rumors has been happening since 2019 but it got stronger recently amidst all the Bucks’ struggle. They are currently 11-16 and are outside of the play-in.
Fans are not convinced with Giannis Antetokounmpo’s statement
People are not convinced by this statement with many saying that it is ridiculous that an agent can do it without his client’s knowledge.
