New York Knicks are one of the teams said to have a better chance of landing Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks’ latest financial move has people feeling curious.

The Greek Freak reportedly bought a property in Brooklyn. However, it is not for residence but more of an investment in real estate.

The news was first seen on Reddit and people there were not jumping into conclusion right away about Antetokounmpo’s next move. The Bucks star’s future is heavily speculated amid the ongoing team struggle.

X account TradedNY, which shares news about property purchases in the city, also posted about it and garnered reactions from NBA fans.

I pulled up the property deed for the multifamily rental building Giannis recently bought (just off Bedford Ave in PLG/Flatbush)

Obviously Giannis knew buying property in NYC would make headlines.
He didn’t even try to hide it lol

Interesting Giannis purchased a building in Brooklyn.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and New York Knicks

Brooklyn is not NYC but since it is a property and not future Antetokounmpo residence, people still find ways to connect the dots.

The latest about Giannis and the Knicks says the interest from the team remains alive. However, things are about to get more complicated.

“If the Bucks are open to discussing Antetokounmpo with teams, the Knicks will no longer have the exclusive negotiating window as his preferred destination,” said NBA insider Shams Charania.

The only advantage they have right now is that they are reportedly Antetokounmpo’s preferred destination although he is not a fan of the city’s high tax rate. He is now a businessman though and the property purchase might say something.
