Basketball is not that hard. That’s what Giannis Antetokounmpo is thinking as his Milwaukee Bucks seem to have figured things out at last after a disastrous first month.

Team makes the dream work for them and the Greek Freak wants to point that that’s what they have been doing as they climbed from a 2-8 start to now being just 1.5 games away from a third seed in the Western Conference.
He believes they now trust each other more and they are no longer playing like they are just playing for themselves.
We trust one another now. We play together, there’s no more hero ball,” said Antetokounmpo after their Emirates NBA Cup win against the Atlanta Hawks to enter the Finals.
“I think in the beginning of the season, we tried to do it by ourselves. I think we are a very talented team, so sometimes that can affect the team.”
This teamwork showed against the Hawks when they had 28 assists, which is 2 higher than the team average.

Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard also take turns as playmakers. Dame scored had 16 assists in their last two games. He also had 12 against the Miami Heat when he scored 37 points and then 13 in win against the Pacers when he struggled to put up points on the board.
Giannis Antetokounmpo on relationship with Damian Lillard
Another thing Giannis thought has improved in the team is his relationship with Lillard.
Dame time is happening because they are being patient in building their chemistry, he believes.
You know, I feel like a lot of people had such high expectations from us on day one to be the best duo to ever play this game. But it takes time.
Now it’s our second year playing together. We are more comfortable with one another, know one another’s spots better. And as you see, our chemistry has been getting way, way better. Down the stretch … we feel very, very comfortable. We can both get to our spots and be more effective when we play that two main game this year.

This chemistry by the Bucks will be tested again on Tuesday as they face the Oklahoma City Thunder for a chance to lift the NBA Cup.
