Gianni Antetokounmpo is undeniably one of the best players in the NBA. The power forward has many accolades to his name, and he recently achieved something great at the EuroBasket/ Antetokounmpo represented Greece and won his first medal for the country.

It was a huge achievement, and his wife, Mariah, was unable to contain her happiness. Mariah took to social media to share her husband’s success after he won a bronze medal while playing against Finland. It was a hard run for the Greek Freak and his teammates.

While winning the gold medal was the ultimate goal, it was still good enough to get a bronze. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s wife gave a shoutout to her husband, saying that he deserved greatness and more.

“Let me brag for one second…my man, my man, my man! [heart face emoji] Everything earned, nothing given! You deserve all of this greatness and more,” Mariah wrote.

It’s indeed a proud moment. Not only for Maria and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but for his entire country.

“During this Eurobasket we celebrated our wedding anniversary, first day of school and our beautiful daughter’s second birthday from a distance, but every single sacrifice is worth it to see you accomplish your dreams,” Mariah continued. “I promise to be by your side through it all my love. Keep going I’m right here with you, we aren’t done yet! [Yellow heat emoji],” Maria continued on her post.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Claims Winning Was The Biggest Success Of His Life

Giannis Antetokounmpo achieved something that not many NBA players have. Many players have tried their luck at the EuroBasket, but Antetokounmpo was one who faced triumph. “I’ve experienced everything in my life. I never speak. I’m not fake. I don’t like being famous. I love basketball. And that medal is the biggest success of my life. Nothing beats the feeling when you represent your country. This result is a relief for me,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said.

The Greek star led his team against Finland, which won by 92-89. Antetokounmpo scored 30 points, six assists, and 17 rebounds, a huge contribution as he carried his team to victory.
