Gilbert Arenas, former NBA player, could not be happier as he recently announced his wedding to long-time girlfriend Melli Monaco. On Monday, Arenas posted a number of pictures from his wedding on his Instagram, wowing his fans and followers.
The beautiful bride and groom can be seen showing off a number of poses, with Arenas donning a blue blazer and black trousers, and Melli Monaco, now Mrs. Arenas, wearing an unconventional yet stylish strapless white mini-dress with a short veil. The bride also chose simple and classy jewelry for her big day, featuring gold hoops, an emerald necklace, with a matching bracelet.
“I finally did it y’all @mellimonaco is officially Mrs Arenas ❤️” Gilbert Arenas captioned the post.

Arenas and Melli Monaco have been in a relationship after they met on a YouTube livestream where the former Golden State Warriors player asked the social media influencer out. Arenas apparently proposed to Monaco in Paris, right in front of the Eiffel Tower last year. Before Monaco, Gilbert Arenas was engaged to Laura Govan, with whom he shares four children.

Gilbert Arenas Comments On Jimmy Butler’s Poor Performance Post-Suspension
Meanwhile, Gilbert Arenas dropped an interesting take on Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler and his poor numbers as of late. Butler, who freshly returned from a seven-game suspension for his negative comments about the team, is clearly not performing well. In his two games after the suspension, Butler has only managed an average of 13 points, with three rebounds and 4.5 helpers.

While it is clear that Butler is not doing so well, Miami fans and sports analysts have been questioning as to why the team is playing him at all. In a recent podcast episode, Arenas went on to speculate that the team very well knows that Butler is looking for a way out of the squad, and is looking forward to him slipping up on the court or off the court so that they can suspend him again. By suspending Butler, the Miami Heat can save plenty of money for themselves.

Currently, the Miami Heat is ranked eighth in the Eastern Conference after winning 21 games and losing 20. Lastly, the Heat played against the San Antonio Spurs and won the game with a final score of 128-107. In that game, Jimmy Butler managed to put up eight points, grabbing three rebounds and assisting seven times, while Kel’el Ware led the team on the scoreboard with 25 points, eight boards and a pair of helpers.
