Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors couldn’t get a win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday as they suffered a 112-86 loss. The Warriors didn’t have their star point guard, Stephen Curry, who was out due to a pelvic bruise. Even without their fearless leader, the game was highly anticipated as it was Jimmy Butler‘s first game back at Kaseya Center since he was traded.
Golden State couldn’t keep up against the Heat, who turned up their defensive tenacity against Butler. The Warriors struggled to shoot the basketball as a group and only made 39.8% of their shots from the field. Their attempts from deep weren’t efficient either as they knocked down 23.7% of their 3-pointers.

Following their loss, Green talked to the media and said they should change their approach each game. The four-time champion believes that Golden State should have the mentality that they’re playing against the best team in the league every game.
“We got to make sure that we are approaching every game like we’re playing against the best team in the NBA, because that’s who teams turn into when they play us,” Green said. “They play out od their minds.
“This team, they were 17 of 25 from three, that’s crazy. But that’s the NBA, everybody got talent.”

The New Orleans Pelicans will be the Warriors’ next opponent on Friday. They have five games planned for their lengthy road trip, and this will be the third.
The Golden State Warriors had a poor performance against the Heat, according to their head coach

The Golden State Warriors had a ton of problems on the court. While most would look at their substandard offensive performance, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr believes the team had difficulties on both ends of the floor.
“Both,” Kerr answered when asked which side of the floor was more bothersome. “It wasn’t our best stuff. We couldn’t make a shot 9-for-38, they go 17-for-25 [from deep]. I just give them credit.
“We played very poorly, but it’s not like we were throwing the ball around. We had some shot clock violations… we didn’t connect the game very well and they just lit it up.
“Spo was ready to play as you would expect. Given the circumstances with Jimmy coming back. They were ready and they knocked everything down early and we missed everything.”
