Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green admitted he regrets calling LeBron James a b***h during their heated exchange in Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals, which eventually led to his suspension in the next game.
During a live episode of his podcast, with Skip Bayless as his guest, Green said he should’ve kept his cool since it cost the Golden State Warriors a chance to cement themselves as one of the greatest teams of all-time with a Larry O’Brien trophy.
“Well, that’s my brother,” Green told Bayless. “And it’s actually one of the moments I regret because when I use that word with people, (which) I pull out here and there on the court, but when I pull that word out, I’m ready to fight. So, I’m saying this word to you so that you can get ready to fight me. And it’s one thousand percent a fighting word.”
“When I look back on that moment, it’s one I’m not proud of, especially with where our relationship is today,” he continued. “It’s one that, like I said, when I pull that word out, all respect is out the window, and my respect for (LeBron) is through the roof. Him getting over it was also me going to him and acknowledging that and speaking on that.”

Golden State Warriors News: Draymond Green draws HOF claim from Skip Bayless
Skip Bayless took the opportunity to give Draymond Green his flowers during his appearance on The Draymond Green Show. According to the long-time NBA analyst, the Golden State Warriors forward is a first-ballot Hall of Famer due to his decorated resume, despite his modest career averages.
“This is the crazy thing about this man. He has averaged for his career nine points, seven rebounds, and six assists. And he is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I’m not blowing smoke at you, I’m just telling you the God’s truth,” Bayless told Green.
“That’s never happened before. Nobody with those numbers would ever even sniff the basketball Hall of Fame. And you are first-ballot because there is so much more you do beyond that,” he added.
