Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green was up to his usual antics again on Wednesday night. This backfired significantly on the four-time All-Star after he was ejected in the first quarter of their crucial matchup against the Orlando Magic.

It was a brutal blow for an already shorthanded Warriors side, and it’s a good thing Stephen Curry and Co. were still able to scrape out a much-needed win, 101-93.

Even Green himself knows that his teammates saved his butt yet again on Wednesday night.

Green lasted just three minutes and 36 seconds in this one after he was whistled for two technical fouls in succession. The former Defensive Player of the Year refused to stop arguing with the referee, and it is clear that he said something to tick the game official off — twice:

After the game, Green took to Twitter to express how thankful he is to his Warriors teammates for keeping the boat afloat despite his early exit:

Great DUB!! Appreciate my dawgs holding it down! On to the next one!
    BOUNCE BACK!

Head coach Steve Kerr had a similar message after the game about Green bouncing back the next time out. This comes in the form of a matchup against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, wherein both Kerr and Green are confident that the veteran will make amends for his costly mistake on Wednesday night.

In 43 games played this season, Green has produced averages of 8.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in 27.0 minutes per game.
