Golden State Warriors: Draymond Green Reveals What Went Down During Heated Moment with 1 Knicks Star

The Golden State Warriors are poised to make a deep postseason run thanks to the core of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green.

Butler is the difference maker for the Dubs as his scoring, playmaking and defense allow Curry to have less defensive attention on him and focus on what he does best: shooting long-range bombs opponents struggle to contain.

Butler’s presence also brought energy to Green. The four-time champion has been a key defensive anchor for the Dubs to the point that he believes he should win DPOY with Wemby out for the season.

While many may disagree with Green’s controversial take, the Michigan State product doesn’t particularly care what others think of his play. In fact, he recently revealed what went on during a heated exchange during one of their most recent games.

Green talked about the incident during the most recent episode of his podcast. He revealed with his cohost and former Golden State Warriors guard Baron Davis what went down during the team’s 94-97 win over the Knicks.

    Per Heavy Sports’ Alder Almo:

“I’m gonna tell you what he said BD (Baron Davis) because I think this was a big moment for Towns,” Green said on his podcast “The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis” on Friday, March 21.” I called him soft he said, ‘Man, you a hoe. Hoe, hoe, hoe!’ I said, get him out of here. Go sit him down.”

Everyone knows that Green loves nothing more than to rile his opponents to get them off their game. It may be an unsavory tactic to use, but the 2017 DPOY winner’s tactic would be justified if you look at the box score.

Towns had a fantastic game for the Knicks, ending the night with 29 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and one block. Green using whatever means necessary to get KAT distracted is valid if it meant the Dubs would walk away with the win.

Green had a pretty decent game himself, finishing with nine points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block to help push the Warriors into the win column.
