The Golden State Warriors are entering an intriguing offseason with plenty of questions to answer. The future of some of their key players is already a big topic, including that of Andrew Wiggins‘.
The former Kansas Jayhawks star has been constantly popping in trade rumors. There appears to be a growing possibility that the Warriors would put Wiggins on the trade block. For now, it’s all speculations on the Wiggins front.
Golden State Warriors could flip Andrew Wiggins into a huge trade get in the offseason

Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report brought up an interesting trade idea involving Wiggins. In one of his trade scenarios for Wiggins, Buckley has the one-time NBA All-Star going to the Chicago Bulls along with a 2024 No. 52 pick and a 2026 first-round pick in 2026 for two-time All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic and defensive menace Alex Caruso.
Chicago doesn’t sound remotely interested in rebuilding this offseason, but why not? DeMar DeRozan is entering unrestricted free agency. Zach LaVine is already on the trade block. Conditions are perfect for a clean break.
The Bulls maybe wouldn’t tear things down to the ground—they’ll want to have some talent around breakout star Coby White—but they could turn over the veteran core. Here, turning Vučević and Caruso into Wiggins, a second-round pick and a future first-rounder hurts a little for now but carries the promise of a much better future.

Wiggins has two more years on his current contract before a player option kicks in for the 2026-27 NBA season. His ability to be an elite weapon on both ends of the floor could be enticing enough for a team like Chicago. Vucevic would leave a big void in the middle for the Bulls but at the same time, they wouldn’t have to deal with extension talks with him. Plus, they could still move Wiggins and his expensive contract if things don’t pan out for both sides, as some teams could be interested in his contract deal down the road, particularly when it’s about to expire.
