“League Gotta Have an Agenda” – Golden State Warriors’ 2025-26 Schedule Gets a Strong Reaction From Fans

The NBA released the schedule for all 30 teams on Thursday. Earlier, it was teased that the Golden State Warriors would be part of two of the highly anticipated games in the 2025-26 season. The Warriors will play against the Los Angeles Lakers in the league’s season opener on Oct. 21. Aside from the season opener, Golden State will also play on Christmas Day.

The Warriors will face the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 25. Chase Center will welcome former All-Star guard Klay Thompson back in the arena. It will also feature a head-to-head matchup between Stephen Curry and this year’s No. 1 pick, Cooper Flagg.

However, one of the facts that caught the fans’ attention was the number of back-to-back games this year. The league scheduled the Warriors to have 15 back-to-back games. It’s not the most for next season, but it’s still a lot for an aging Warriors squad.

After fans saw that the Golden State Warriors had a lot of back-to-back games, they couldn’t help but reveal their thoughts. Here are some of what the fans said.

“Nah wtf is this schedule bro the league is gotta have an agenda against steph 💔💔💔💔💔” a fan said.

“Who did the Warriors piss off at the league. They could go 4-6 or 5-5 to start the season,” another fan commented.

“15 back to back wtf is wrong with adam silver,” one fan said.

“15 b2b is actually insane tho, our 3 best players are literally 35yo+, nah Adam Silver got blood on his hands”

“15 back to backs? why can’t they make season start earlier and avoid every back to back… this is nonsense”

“Hate back-to-backs for them, the season/schedule is too long 🤨”

“Why do they do this to us, 15 back to backs?”

“Does the league know that these back to back games just means fewer games to be played by the aging stars?”

Golden State Warriors’ free agent prefers to sign the team’s qualifying offer

There is no update on the Golden State Warriors’ quest to convince free agent forward Jonathan Kuminga to accept their contract offer. The most that the Warriors have offered was a two-year, $45 million contract. However, Kuminga wants more from the franchise and believes that he deserves a deal that would allow him to earn at least $30 million a year.

According to ESPN’s Anthony Slater, the free agent forward is reportedly more interested in accepting the $7.9 million qualifying offer from the Warriors.

“The Warriors have not upped their offer, and Kuminga has indicated to those close to him that the $7.9 million qualifying offer is more appealing to him than the Warriors’ current pitch. Something has to give before the Oct. 1 deadline,” Slater wrote.

Fans are waiting to see how the contract negotiation between the Warriors and Kuminga will play out this summer.
