Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry is in the twilight years of his NBA career. Although no one knows how long he’ll be in the league, experts believe that the time could be soon. Curry will enter his 17th season in October, and he’s still chasing the illustrious fifth championship. But the question of when he’ll remain in the association has started to linger among fans and experts.
Curry has achieved a great deal in his time in the league. He constructed a career that earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame, became the best shooter of all time, and assisted his club in winning four NBA titles. He’s done almost everything a star could hope to achieve and can end it if he wants to.
But he still longs for the fifth title, which would even solidify his legacy in the basketball world. In an interview, Roy Wood Jr. mentioned thinking about ending things. But he gave a vague statement regarding a potential retirement.

“Right now, I’m trying to get everything I can out of basketball for who knows how long,” the Golden State Warriors star said.
When the time comes, Curry will decide what’s best for himself and his legacy. But even if he retires now, he’s already built a long-lasting footprint in the game of basketball.
The Golden State Warriors star is expected to have a great year

The Golden State Warriors were one of the best teams in the NBA last season, especially after they traded for Jimmy Butler. Not only was the team’s newest star in the spotlight, but even Stephen Curry’s performance was noticed.
For the upcoming season, ESPN’s Tim Bontemps believes that the Warriors star will have a great year ahead. The insider revealed his prediction for the two-time MVP in the recent episode of “NBA Today.
“When he’s been out on the court the last couple years, he’s still a guy that strikes fear in opposing defenses in a way that very few guys in the league can with his shooting, his ability to move off the ball,” Bontemps said.
“This is a team that won 48 games last year, with Jimmy Butler only on the team for the second half of the year. So, I really like where Golden State’s at overall. If they can keep Steph healthy, I think he’s got a chance to have a really great year for the Warriors.”
The Warriors need to sort out the Jonathan Kuminga situation first, though. After that’s done, the front office can finally make moves to surround the veteran core of Curry, Butler and Draymond Green.
