The Golden State Warriors recently received a major lineup boost, as Stephen Curry is on track to return for their Friday game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
According to reports, Curry, who missed the Golden State Warriors’ last five games due to a quadriceps injury, was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice and scrimmage. During a recent press conference, the four-time NBA champion told reporters he’s ready to go.
“I’m feeling great, had a good rehab week,” Curry said via Mercury News’ Joseph Dycus. “I’m happy to practice the last couple of days, and seeing how I feel after these last two sessions, I’m pretty optimistic.”
“Long days. It’s monotonous, especially when the team is away,” he continued about his rehab. “You gotta have some really good playlist for the 4-6 hours you’re in here by yourself.”

With Stephen Curry on the sidelines, Pat Spencer received an uptick in usage, and the Golden State Warriors are liking what they see from the 29-year-old guard. During a recent press conference, head coach Steve Kerr even called Spencer a “motherf***er.”
“He just has a presence about him that he just knows the game. He plays with 120 percent confidence every time he’s out there. And as a kind of playmaker role, it was cool to see him kind of adapt to what we needed pretty much overnight. And I think it’ll only help us as we keep moving forward,” Curry said of Spencer.
“I know when I’m out there to be able to play off the ball with him, initiating, taking advantage of the space and all that type of stuff, it should be pretty seamless,” he continued. “I’m happy for him. Obviously, he puts the work in. And again, he’s been waiting for his time, and it’s cool to see him take advantage of it.”
