Golden State Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. recently made the bold declaration that Stephen Curry remains at the top of his game, despite turning 37 years old earlier this calendar year.

“What’s to say (Stephen Curry) is going to slow down? People have been predicting a fall-off in the last three or four seasons, and he hasn’t done that. We’re expecting more of the same. We don’t take it for granted, but the way this guy takes care of himself… We think he’s got at least another year, two, three, whatever it may be, in him. Certainly this year, though,” Dunleavy said about Curry via 95.7 The Game.
Without a doubt, Curry remains the Golden State Warriors’ No. 1 option. Last season, the two-time league MVP averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.1 steals on 45/40/93 shooting clips across 70 regular season starts.

The Golden State Warriors advanced to the Western Conference semifinals before losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games, and Curry’s untimely hamstring injury was a big reason why.
Golden State Warriors News: Jimmy Butler shares his goal for the team in the 2025-26 season
Jimmy Butler recently shared that he and the Golden State Warriors are all-in for winning the NBA championship this season. He said that it would mean the world to him to help Stephen Curry and Draymond Green win their fifth ring.

“They’ve already solidified themselves in the basketball fame and in the league, we get that,” Butler told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Kerith Burke on the Dubs Talk podcast. “But to separate themselves from other individuals — you get five, like, you’re there. You know? No doubting, you can’t question it.”
“You can’t say, ‘Who was on your team?’ ” he added. “You’ve done it with multiple different types of players and rosters. You get five, nobody is questioning anything about anybody that got five.”
