The Dallas Mavericks news have taken over the NBA news and lost in all these are the Phoenix Suns defying expectations. Grayson Allen scored his career high of 42 points on 10 three point shots made in win over the New Orleans Pelicans to elevate his team in the standings.

The Suns are on a roll, having won three straight games even if they were without Jalen Green who had a stellar debut for them last week. They are not supposed to be in this position but they are doing it. Many believe they went on a downgrade after restructuring the team by releasing Kevin Durant who’s with the Rockets now.
Allen thinks they are doing something unusual in the team despite the fact that many of them there are newcomers.
“I definitely think it’s uncommon, especially for a group that hasn’t been together for years and years.”

Grayson Allen credits fans for good performances
Allen is one of the few veterans that remained in the team after the blockbuster trade last summer. The team is still led by Devin Booker and they have holdovers like Royce O’Neale, Ryan Dunn, and Oso Ighodaro.
Newcomers are Green, Dillon Brooks, Mark Williams, and rookie Khaman Maluach.
While the team has a new core, the fans are the mainstays. Allen thanked them for continued support leading to his personal success and the team’s recent good performances.
