The NBA community held their breath on November 2 after news of legendary coach Gregg Popovich’s health scare that forced him to step away as the San Antonio Spurs’ coach.

More than a month and lots of anxiety have passed, the 75-year-old Popovich has finally spoken to his supporters.
He said, through a statement released on Monday, that the past six weeks have been hard for his family.
The Popovich family is also grateful for the support they received during the ordeal.
As we work together on my recovery, I want to take a moment to share that the outpouring of support we’ve received during this time has truly been overwhelming in the best possible way. While I wish I could get back to every single one of you, for now, let me just say that my family and I are forever grateful. We’re thankful for our wonderful community, the entire Spurs organization and our family and friends.
News of Popovich’s health scare first came out on November and almost everyone were clueless about what happened.
The Spurs organization clarified though that he is on his way to a full recovery.

Mitch Johnson took over for him in the meantime.
Gregg Popovich is excited about coaching again
The legendary coach, who is no. 1 in the All-Time winning coach list, appears to be in good spirit already as he expressed excitement to join his team again while also joking that he is someone that cannot be stopped.
“No one is more excited to see me return to the bench than the talented individuals who have been leading my rehabilitation process. They’ve quickly learned that I’m less than coachable,” he ended his statement.
