There’s trouble with the Memphis Grizzlies after the team suffered its fourth-straight loss on Wednesday. The Houston Rockets defeated Memphis, 124-109. The team suffered a 117-112 defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday before this defeat. Star guard Ja Morant questioned the coaching staff’s leadership after finishing the game with eight points in thirty minutes.

After that, the management suspended the All-Star for one game for his comments about the coaching staff. Without Morant, Memphis had a 117-104 loss against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. In the star guard’s return, the Grizzlies suffered their third-straight loss at the hands of the Detroit Pistons.

Since the drama started, the team has struggled to add wins to its record.

After another loss, fans revealed their thoughts on what’s happening in Memphis. Here are some of what the fans said.

“And the losing will continue,” a fan said.

“Time to trade everyone, same with the kings,” another fan commented.

“Franchise trending in wrong direction . 😩” one fan commmented.

“Prepare for the re-rebuild,” one fan suggested.

“but grizzlies front office still thinks everything is okay,” a comment read.

“Yeah ja outta there at the deadline,” someone commented.

“They lost all their aura. Trade both of them,” a fan said.

“Jamorant should leave this team to a better team,” a post said.

“where is the joy?” a fan referenced Morant’s comments.

“is ja still fine in the west 💀💀” one fan poked fun at Morant.

The Grizzlies’ Morant is linked to trade rumors around the league

Due to the problems in Memphis, Morant has been the subject of numerous trade rumors. Many believe that the disgruntled star could leave the franchise soon, especially after his one-game suspension. Amid the drama between the NBA star and the organization, the Sacramento Kings have emerged as a potential trade destination.

According to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, the Kings are rumored to be interested in acquiring Morant. While Sacramento’s general manager, Scott Perry, hasn’t made a move. But Anderson reported that things could change for the franchise.

“According to a league source, the Kings have yet to engage the Grizzlies in trade talks in light of the latest developments in Memphis, but that could change. Perry, an experienced NBA executive who has been a part of roster transformations in Detroit, Orlando and New York, will most certainly monitor all situations involving high-end talent, including Morant’s future in Memphis,” Anderson wrote.

There hasn’t been a clear indication that Morant has given up on the team that drafted him.
