Draymond Green and Steve Kerr got into a heated verbal exchange during Monday night’s win over Orlando Magic.

The sideline clash occurred during a third-quarter timeout which ultimately led Green to leave the court until the final buzzer. The Warriors were down 71-66 when the messy sideline opera went down.
Fans on social media find problems with his decision to run the offense, which is actually Stephen Curry’s job.
Draymond Green and Steve Kerr Details Stormy Sideline Blowup with Steve Kerr
Green came to talk with reporters an hour after the 120-97 victory. In the meantime, he hadn’t talked to Kerr yet. But he wanted to get ahead of the story.
“Tempers spilled over, and I just thought it was best that I get out of there,” Green said. “I don’t think there was a situation where it was gonna get better. So it was just best to remove myself. That’s it.”
The four-time NBA champion said he was available to return. But that call wasn’t his to make. “I thought I owed it to my teammates to be there,” Green said. “I’m not going to quit on my teammates.”

However, Green did return to the warmup after spending around nine minutes in the locker room. He was sitting on the bench, teammates came to check on him, but Kerr never put him back in the game.
The veteran forward finished the game scoring only nine points, with seven rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes. Just to recap, it was his second straight premature exit. Last time, he got tossed Saturday against the Phoenix Suns after eight minutes for consecutive technical fouls.
Kerr, meanwhile, kept his postgame comments brief about the sideline heated moment with Green. The 12-year head coach wouldn’t elaborate on the specifics of the confrontation.
Kerr concluded by saying the incident was unfortunate and something he never wanted to happen.
Fans Torch Draymond Green Hard
The majority of the fans think it was Green’s issue, and whatever blowup took place on the sideline, it started because of Green’s clown measurement.
One fan wrote, “Tempers spill over every game for this manchild.”
Another fan noted, “The day he punched Poole was the day he should’ve left this guy is the reason why Steph can’t win his 5th.”
A third added, “maybe it’s best you leave the team.”
The fourth one claimed, “This man is single-handedly dragging the Warriors down…. Trade this man.”
A random X user remarked, “He was about to punch Kerr for us smh.”
The Warriors host Memphis on Thursday, then play Dallas on Christmas Day. Green and Kerr will have to move past this quickly because their franchise can’t afford internal distractions with the playoff picture this tight.
