Erik Spoelstra and his players have said a lot of things on what they should do so that they can out of their funk this month. They have won just two times in the 10 games they played this December. Among those they pointed out as their ailment is their defense.

They know something and response is all they need. However, that did not happen when they took on the Toronto Raptors. They did not just lose but they were blown out.
Coach Spo is baffled how this happened as he thought they had a good practice leading up to the game in their own home.

Raptors’ top scorer Brandon Ingram was held to just 12 points but Scottie Barnes was the one who carried the load as he score 27 points, his third highest scoring game this season.
Erik Spoelstra on Bam Adebayo’s struggles
Raptors’ usual main contributors were there for them. That’s a different story with the Heat.
They did not have Tyler Herro in the game but they also almost got nothing from Bam Adebayo who has been under fire lately for his shooting struggle.
The three-time All-Star is aware of what is going through.
Bam Adebayo on his recent slump
“It sucks but it’s apart of the NBA it’s a long season. Figure out how I can impact winning and do that instead of focusing on shots not falling. Shots will eventually start falling. Shots just not falling that’s really all it is. Figure out how I… pic.twitter.com/NiueaiQz7H

Spoelstra takes responsibility for the struggle his star is going through. He said Adebayo remains motivated but he can do more for him.
“I have to be better for him. His hearts in the right place,” he said.
“He wants to help the team however he can. He’s a great competitor. This stretch of the season weighs on him like he’s a coach. He carries it.”
Next up for the Heat are equally struggling teams Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers. They will wrap up the year by hosting the Denver Nuggets.
