“He’s a Straight-Up Donkey”: NBA Fans Blast Draymond Green for Throwing Middle Finger on Scottie Barnes After Lucky Three-Pointer

Draymond Green can’t help himself. Just days after verbally fighting with head coach Steve Kerr, he again caused controversy in the worst possible way.

The Warriors forward dropped four triples against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. But one three-pointer came with nasty sauce. When Green caught Scottie Barnes sleeping on defense and made him pay, he showed his middle finger to the All-Star forward while talking trash.

The sequence started with Stephen Curry collapsing Toronto’s defense. Green found himself wide open at the top of the key during a minute of the third quarter.

Barnes made a business decision leaving Green alone, which was a smart play considering Green shoots just 32 percent from deep for his career.

But this time Green knocked down the triple with confidence, giving Warriors a five-point lead. He knew it was Barnes’s plan to stop him tactically, so he threw up something that looked like a middle finger in Barnes’s direction.

Cameras also captured Green shouting, “Keep turning your back on me!” while making the nasty finger move. He finished with 21 points on 4-of-8 shooting from three, which was his season’s best offensive output. The 35-year-old also added seven assists and three steals to his stat sheet.

The irony? His wild celebration after proving Barnes didn’t last long, as the Warriors ultimately lost the game by 14 points. And fans were kept in awe because the refs didn’t call a technical foul, though it happened right in front of their eyes.

Folks torched officials and showed zero sympathy for Green after the loss. Quite frankly, their trolling seems more brutal than what Green did with the Raptors forward.

One fan wrote, “Take tht L fucking donkey.”

Another added, “How is that not a tech? Draymond gets away with a lot of things just because we expect this attitude from him.”

A third noted, “That’s why they lost anyway lol. Dudes such a jag off.”

The fourth shared, “Dray so corny, that’s why they lost. Too old for the way he behaves, it’s weird. Nigga got brain damage or something.”

A fifth fan claimed, “Lmao anyone else and thats a T.”

A random X user said, “someone please quiet this draymond guy. i don’t think i can ever like him or the GSW.”

The loss snapped Golden State’s three-game winning streak. They’re now 16-16 with a 6-12 record on the road this season. The Warriors have one day off before facing Brooklyn on Monday. They need to clean up the turnovers fast or this season will spiral.
