In a TMZ clip from Saturday, Mychal met Megan during Thanksgiving last year when she cooked for the family. The 71-year-old was blown away to see the Grammy-winning rapper entering a “wifely era.”
“Very nice neighbor. She can cook for us,” Mychal said. “She made some baked beans … best I’ve ever had in my life. She made a brisket the other night with some special sauce that she cooked up. She can open up a cooking school. She can be a chef. She’s one of the best cooks… Megan is a chef. She’s talented.”
Asked if Megan would make a great daughter-in-law, he didn’t hesitate, saying, “Oh yeah, man. She’s a really nice girl. Very smart. Very smart lady.”

The relationship timeline coincides with interesting developments in Klay’s game. The five-time All-Star is averaging just 11.8 points this season with 22.2 minutes per game through 45 appearances. That’s his lowest since his rookie campaign.
The Mavericks brought him in as a veteran presence alongside Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving, but the results have fallen short because Davis has missed 29 games this season. Meanwhile, Irving has not played yet and is expected to return to practice after the All-Star break.
