The Houston Rockets are reportedly contemplating adding Devin Booker to their squad before the trade deadline ends. While the Rockets are definitely performing pretty well in this season, they could still use a few tweaks to their unit if they want to win the championship. This was discussed in a recent episode of ‘Hoop Collective’ by Tim MacMahon from ESPN.
As of now, the Houston Rockets are no. 2 in the Western Conference after winning 27 games and losing 12 so far. In their latest matchup, the Rockets were paired with the Denver Nuggets and won the game with a final score of 128-108. In that game, Houston’s Jalen Green was the lead scorer with 34 points, while Alperen Sengun managed another 20 points.
“That’s something they’ll have to look at on the trade market. Whether it’s De’Aaron Fox this summer, certainly they’ve got a lot of Suns draft capital and they’ve let it be known they are Devin Booker fans.” Tim MacMahon said on ‘Hoop Collective’.

Meanwhile, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns are in a sticky spot this season, presently ranked 11th in the Western Conference with 19 wins and 20 defeats. In his most recent appearance for the Suns, Booker put up 35 points against the Hawks in the losing effort. This season, Booker is averaging 25.2 points in each game, with four rebounds and 6.9 helpers in every matchup played.
Houston Rockets To Face Sacramento Kings In Next Matchup
On another note, the Houston Rockets are gearing up to face the Sacramento Kings in the next game to continue the NBA season. While the Rockets are no. 2 in the Western table, the Kings are all the way in ninth rank with 20 wins and 20 defeats this season.

The last time the Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings faced each other was during the NBA Cup Group Stage. In that game, the Kings destroyed the Rockets with a final score of 120-111. Houston’s lead scorer in that matchup was Jalen Green who scored a total of 28 points, along with seven boards and three assists, while Alperen Sengun managed 24 points with eight rebounds and six helpers.
On Sacramento’s side, Domantas Sabonis led the team on the scoreboard with 27 points, while grabbing seven rebounds and assisting four times, while De’Aaron Fox added another 22 points with six boards and seven assists.

While the Houston Rockets are coming to this matchup with a five-game winning streak, the Sacramento Kings will be eager to make up for their recent defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks in their previous game.
