The Indiana Pacers frontcourt has been hit by the injury bug anew, so they decided to sign Moses Brown from the New York Knicks G League affiliate for added size and rebounding, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Myles Turner was out in the Indiana Pacers’ 130-119 loss against the Toronto Raptors due to calf soreness, while Isaiah Jackson and James Wiseman are out for the season due to their torn Achilles, so Brown has a unique opportunity to restart his NBA career.

Indiana Pacers in a slump

With Myles Turner sidelined, Jarace Walker started at center for Indy and finished with six points, four rebounds, and two assists on 2-for-7 shooting from the field in 25 minutes of action.

Obi Toppin soaked up more minutes in Turner’s absence and notched 19 points, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals on 8-for-13 shooting from the field in 31 minutes of action.
The Indiana Pacers felt Turner’s absence, as the Toronto Raptors outrebounded them 46-32 and outscored them 66-52 in the paint.
