The Indiana Pacers snapped a two-game losing skid on Sunday by taking down the Miami Heat at home, 119-110. That was also some sweet revenge for Tyrese Haliburton and company, as Miami defeated Indiana last Friday, 124-111.
Haliburton played a big role in that payback Indiana victory, as the former Iowa State Cyclones star guard put up 16 points, dished out 13 assists, grabbed three rebounds, and swatted away two shots on defense. He shot just 4-for-16 from the floor but did not hurt his team with turnovers. In fact, he was great in ball security, as he did not turn the ball over even once in the win over the Heat despite a heavy usage.
With that, Haliburton earned a mention in the same sentence with legendary point guards John Stockton and Chris Paul.

Tyrese Haliburton comes through for the Indiana Pacers in revenge win vs. the Miami Heat

That is quite an accomplishment for the 24-year-old Haliburton, considering the fact that he is still early into his fifth year in the NBA.
With Haliburton setting the table nicely for his teammates against the Heat, the likes of Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner were able to get lots of buckets. Siakam had 23 points while Turner generated 34 points. Bennedict Mathurin also had a solid performance, with 21 points to his name.
On the season, Haliburton is averaging 16.2 points and 8.8 assists for the Pacers, who improved to 6-7.
