The Indiana Pacers had a much-needed game 4 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks 113-126. Many people expected the Milwaukee Bucks to easily breeze past the Pacers this round. However, Giannis got hurt before the series began. Then Damian Lillard got injured in game 3 with an achilles injury.

Many people forgot that the Pacers were 4-1 against the Bucks in the regular season. The only game they lost was when Giannis dropped a career-high 64 points against them. It is also worth noting that the Indiana Pacers played all five games against the Bucks before the Pascal Siakam trade.

Before the injuries, the Pacers seemed to have their number, like the Nuggets do with the Lakers. Yet, they did two great things in their offense to coast through game 4 with a win.

In their game 4 win against the Bucks, the Indiana Pacers hit a playoff franchise high of 22 3-pointers. Myles Turner and Andrew Nembhard went 77.8% and 75%, respectively, from beyond the arc. Turner finished the game with 29 points, while Nembhard finished with 17 points.

The Bucks’ defense had no chance against Indiana’s perimeter shooting as they would leave shots wide open or arrive late to their opposing shooters.

Indiana’s all-star break acquisition of Pascal Siakam seems to be an x-factor within this series. He almost posted a triple-double in last night’s win with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.

Pascal also accomplished a feat in this series the league hadn’t seen since Wilt Chamberlain in 1967. He became the first player since Wilt to open the first two games of a playoff series with at least 35 points and 10 rebounds. Pascal also became the 5th player in league history to have those stats, along with 60% shooting in consecutive playoff games alongside Wilt Chamberlain, Tim Duncan, Shaq, and Giannis.

Pacers Legend Speaks Out About Their Game 4 Win

The legendary Pacers point guard Mark Jackson and his son discussed the big game 4 win on their Night Mode version of The Mark Jackson Show. When his son asked about his thoughts on the game 4 win, Mark Jackson replied:

“[They played] inspired basketball. I saw them competing. I saw them defending. I saw them imposing their will. I saw them executing on the offensive end. I saw them playing a brand of basketball they’ve played with all year long with playing iwth teremendous force and pace. They were agressive in transition. Again, Haliburton was special. Myles did a special job with shooting the 3, rebounding, and defending the rim. I wouldn’t want to face that team. They put a demand physically against you with thier brand of basketball.
