Former NBA star Isaiah Thomas was among those who enjoyed the Super Bowl LX halftime show. It was a controversial moment for NFL fans because of the headliner, Bad Bunny. The Grammy winner is the first Latino solo act to perform at the sporting event. Since most of his songs are in Spanish, there were some who questioned his selection.

On Sunday, Bad Bunny took the stage and had a grand performance. He brought out music icons Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, who both had their shining moments. Additionally, Pedro Pascal, Cardi B, Karol G and Jessica Alba were on the stage while the Puerto Rican put on a show.

Fans were divided with Bad Bunny taking center stage at the NFL game. An event called “Turning Point USA All-American Halftime Show” was organized, which featured Kid Rock as an alternative.

But the two-time NBA All-Star was among those who had a great time watching Bad Bunny. On X, he defended the artist from the hate he received from the other fans.

“If you really say bad bunny’s performance was bad something is wrong with you. I didn’t know what he was saying 😂 but it was vibe no matter what . LOVE IS BETTER THAN HATE in every way 🙏🏾” Thomas posted.

Isaiah Thomas celebrated the Seahawks’ Super Bowl win

Isaiah Thomas was in full support of the Seattle Seahawks’ bid at the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. The last time the franchise won was in 2013 against the Denver Broncos. It was the team’s first Super Bowl win, which was special.

However, the Seahawks returned to Seattle with the Vince Lombardi trophy after almost a decade. On X, Thomas conveyed his happiness for the squad.

    “Hell yeah!!!” Thomas posted.

Isaiah Thomas is from Tacoma, Washington, 34 miles from Seattle. He’s been an avid supporter of the professional sports teams in the city, including the Seattle Supersonics.
