Jalen Green’s debut for the Phoenix Suns remains delayed as the high leaping guard is yet to fully recover from his hamstring injury. The team confirmed on Monday that he will remain out in their upcoming game against the Golden State Warriors.

Phoenix will again be without Jalen Green (hamstring) and Dillon Brooks (core) as both were ruled out. Meanwhile, second-year wing Ryan Dunn is marked as probable with a left knee contusion. Isaiah Livers (right hip contusion) is the only questionable player.
Green is a 20-point scorer Suns acquired over summer from the Rockets by letting go of Kevin Durant. He played all regular season games in the last two years but he had to deal with a hamstring injury, making him miss all pre-season games.
Devin Booker currently take most of the scoring tasks, averaging 30 points and 7.4 assists per game.

Jordan Ott’s update on Jalen Green
The Suns are being patient with Green but he is making progress according to head coach Jordan Ott.
“It’s feel, how is he feeling. Him at 60, 70, 80% speed is still pretty fast,” Ott told reporters after their Sunday win over the San Antonio Spurs.
“It’s just going to take time. Knowing that it may not be full speed right from the jump. That’s just something he’s going to have to get acquainted to and accustomed to as he progresses when he comes back.”

He then followed it up with an encouraging update during Monday practice.
“He’s had great response,” the coach said.
“It’s been productive the last couple of days for him. Today was a lower-ish day. It’s kind of timed up to where we’ll stick to day-by-day, but he is in a good spot. Keep moving forward.”
