Jaylen Brown has been fined before the words he said about the officiating and the league itself but he is ready to take one after Boston Celtics’ loss to the visiting San Antonio Spurs.

The 2024 Finals MVP has been playing unconscious these past months and that speaks a lot about his aggressiveness on the floor. He had another splendid game against the Spurs by putting up 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. However, they lost the game.

The loss is not what he was most frustrated about. It is the calls and non-calls that he thought were inconsistent compared to other games. And so, he unleashed on the officials and the league to express his frustration.

“I’ll accept the fine at this point. I thought it was some bullshit tonight,” he said after the game as reported by Justin Turpin of WEEI 93.7 FM.

“They’re a good defensive team, but they ain’t that damn good. I hope somebody can just pull up the clips, because it’s the same shit every time we play a good team. It’s like they refuse to make a call, then they call touch fouls on the other end, and that’s just extremely frustrating, bro… Every time we play a good team the inconsistency is crazy. I’ll take the fucking fine.”

Jaylen Brown on the officiating in Saturday’s loss:

“I thought it was some bullshit… I had 0 free throws tonight. The inconsistency is f**kin’ crazy. Give me the fine.”

He recently made comments about officiating when he thought he was not getting calls despite the physicality on him by opponents in loss to the Denver Nuggets the other day.

Jaylen Brown continued it on X

As if his tirades in front of reporters were not enough, he continued expressing his strong views about the referees on X.

Fine me I’m sick of this shit

Brown has a point here as the Celtics as a team tripped to the free throw line just four times. None of them were by JB.

Meanwhile, the Spurs went there 20 times and made 14. Celtics lost by 5 points.
