Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown played in his fifth NBA All-Star Game on Sunday. Through the three games he played for the USA Team Stripes, Brown finished with 15 points. The main event was extra competitive this season, as San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama set the tone. Other stars followed suit after the strong outing from Wembanyama.
Brown and the older stars matched the competitiveness and advanced to the championship round of the tournament. However, they were outplayed by the younger USA Team Stars.
While the competition level was well-received, there are still areas that the NBA All-Star Weekend needs to work on. This sparked a potential inclusion of a 1-on-1 tournament in the future.

It has worked out well for Unrivaled, and the Celtics star believes that it could do well in the league. Jaylen Brown spoke about during the media availability of the stars.
“I’m actually a big fan of the one-on-one,” Brown said. “Off The Dribble Sports. I think Ballislife and doing some stuff as well. I actually love watching it, because it reminds me of the purity of the game.
“Like, it’s just mano y mano. You got people on the court talking trash. You’ve got to play two sides. You got to be an offensive and a defensive player. I think that will be great.”
While the All-Star break was saved, there are other segments that could be replaced.
Jaylen Brown is interested in having an MMA career
Jaylen Brown is different from other NBA players who think about coaching, commentating, or studying basketball when their playing days are over. The Celtics star has expressed desire in participating in combat sports after his playing career is over.
“To be honest, I’ve toyed with this, and I’ve talked to some people. Maybe in the post-career part of my life, I would love to partake in something like the UFC or even boxing. I’ve talked to Dana White about some stuff. We’ll see how things go.”
Fans might see a different version of Brown once he’s done playing.
