No NBA punishment will come between Jaylen Brown and his disgust for poor officiating as the Boston Celtics star mentioned it again after their win over the Indiana Pacers. This time, however, it is a bit toned down.

Celtics won against the Eastern Conference’s worst team in a game that saw them troop to the free throw line 25 times. It is unusual for them and Brown has an idea. He thinks the $35,000 fine he received from a two weeks ago did it.

Brown dared the league shortly after the conclusion their loss to the San Antonio Spurs last January 10 after his team earned just two free attempts.
“I’ll accept the fine at this point. I thought it was some [expletive] tonight,” he said after the game as reported by Justin Turpin of WEEI 93.7 FM.

“They’re a good defensive team, but they ain’t that damn good. I hope somebody can just pull up the clips, because it’s the same shit every time we play a good team. It’s like they refuse to make a call, then they call touch fouls on the other end, and that’s just extremely frustrating, bro… Every time we play a good team the inconsistency is crazy. I’ll take the fucking fine.”
Jaylen Brown hints he will not stop pressing the refs
Celtics are getting improved officiating now when it comes to foul calls. They shot 24/30 from the stripes in loss to Detroit Pistons, 18 out of 22 versus Atlanta Hawks, and 24 out of 25 against the Miami Heat.
That does not mean Brown will stop in calling for the referees to be better.
“I’m just going to keep putting pressure on the rim and keep trying to find ways to get those calls on our team because it benefits us in the long run,” he said.

Boston remain to be one of the more surprising teams this season as they how occupy the second spot of the Eastern Conference, huge thanks to Brown’s MVP performances and leadership.
