San Antonio Spurs cruised to an easy win over Los Angeles Lakers who played without Lebron James but the post-game daps offered more interesting action when the camera crew spotted something out of ordinary. Jeremy Sochan is walking smiling towards the locker room but was stopped by Jarred Vanderbilt.

It was not to exchange pleasantries. According to the Sochan, it was to continue the little skirmish they had during the game.

“I must’ve said something to him during the game, and maybe it wasn’t very nice,” Sochan said.

“He must have taken it in the wrong way and told me to see him after the game. So, I did. And we just had a polite exchange.”

It can be seen in the video that Vanderbilt poked Sochan on the cheek and teammate Julian Champaigne has to come to his defense.

Jeremy Sochan downplays moment with JV

The Spurs player continued that he was not looking to escalate anything and downplayed the confrontation.

“I was, I think, intact and very joyful and the other person wasn’t. Yeah, he just wasn’t emotionally stable in that moment. So, it’s something he has to work on. It’s just life.”

Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox and Lakers center Jaxson Hayes were there to de-escalate the commotion.

This is not the first confrontation between the two so it is not impossible that one of them remembers their bitter history.

The Lakers and the Spurs will meet for one last time in the regular season on February 10 at the Crypto.com Arena.
