Victor Wembanyama sighting on the basketball court is a sight to be hold not just for San Antonio Spurs fans but also for any hoops enthusiasts. He played his first game since February when he was shut down due to a deep vein thrombosis on his shoulder and while his plays are not out of this world, since it was just a pre-season game, his teammate warns that there is more to come that can shock people.

The Spurs welcomed China’s Guangzhou Loong Lions at Frost Bank Center for a pre-season game and ended up wining by a large margin. Wemby finished with nine points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks in limited plays. He also gifted spectators with ridiculous blocks.

That is only a preview of more ridiculous plays from The Alien according to his teammate Jeremy Sochan.

“It’s super exciting to see,” Sochan said when asked about Wembanyama’s return to the court after nearly eight months.
“I think he’s ready. You’re going to see a lot that’s going to shock you, and everyone’s excited to see him on the actual NBA court.”
Victor Wembanyama is itching to play
Being away from the game is hard and Wemby missed it badly. It showed in his most recent game.
“It feels like I belong,” Wembanyama said. “Being away was hard.”
He hopes he will not miss that much this time.
“Life isn’t forever,” he shared.

“There are some experiences you’re going to miss on. It’s inevitable. But I’m going to miss out on the least that I can. I’m still going to do the things I want to do as a human.”
Wembanyama had a productive summer with his workout with NBA greats and travel overseas to hone his mental focus. He will put that to test on Thursday when they take on Miami Heat for a pre-season game.
