Jimmy Butler has proven that trade rumors do not affect him as he recorded a triple double although the Miami Heat lost to Detroit Pistons.

The small forward eclipsed his previous career high rebounds of 18 by getting one more against the Pistons while recording 35 points and dishing out 10 assists.
This is the fifth straight game that Butler scored in double digits as he remains a hot topic of trade rumors in the past week.
The Heat leader went all out in the game but since they lost, he thought he could have done more. He is also unfazed and only sees the latest adversity as a challenge.
I’ll take the blame for it. Makes me no different so I like it. Put more pressure on my side. I’ll take it. I love it. Love all the adversity.
Maybe I got to do better. Maybe I got to do more. But I hate losing. I despise losing.
Butler went nuclear in the game but his effort was just not enough against the young Detroit.

Cade Cunningham led everyone with his own triple double of 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 18 assists.
Veteran Malik Beasley topscored for them with 28 points while Aumar Thompson and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 19 and 16, respectively.
Should Jimmy Butler take the last shot?
The game went down the wire and with Butler’s hot shooting, fans thought the last play, would have been the winner, should have been designed for him.
Instead it was Tyler Herro who took the last shot.

Herro has been the most consistent player in the team, 24.2 points per game to leave everyone in the squad.
Coach Erik Spoelstra probably trusted him since he was the one who sent the game to OT by burying a triple in the regulation with 5.1 seconds left.
In the OT, Butler hit a shot with just one shoe over Cunningham to take the lead, 124-123.
However, he took time to get back on defense, allowing Cunningham to take the lead back with a runner.
“Maybe I should’ve gone there without the shoe,” Butler can only say post-game.
