JJ Redick, Los Angeles Lakers’ coach, voiced his opinions on the team’s problems after they recently lost against the San Antonio Spurs. The team clearly struggled to stop San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama in that game, which was the main reason why the Lakers failed to win.
In the game against the Spurs, the Lakers lost to the Spurs with a final score of 126-102, after Anthony Davis chalked up 30 points to lead the team on the scoreboard, with 13 rebounds and a pair of helpers. LeBron James managed to score 18 points for the Lakers, grabbing five boards and assisting eight times, while Austin Reaves put up 12 points.
“Wemby being on the court, you have to kind of decide how you want to play coverage … The point of attack just wasn’t good tonight. It feels like there’s no one in the paint for us.” JJ Redick said to reporters after the game.

Currently, JJ Redick and the Los Angeles Lakers are ranked seventh in the Western Conference after winning 20 games and losing 17. The team is on a three-game losing streak and is eager to shake this off in their upcoming game against the Miami Heat.

JJ Redick’s Sons Get Victor Wembanyama And Chris Paul To Sign Their Jerseys
JJ Redick was clearly a mess after his team lost to the San Antonio Spurs in their most recent matchup. While reeling from the disappointing defeat, Redick was also battling to come to terms with the fact that he had just lost his rental home in LA as a result of the wildfires. Indeed, not just Redick, but the entire Los Angeles Lakers team are going through tough times after the wildfires started.

Two of their home games were postponed, and their latest one ended in a disaster for the Lakers. Apart from the Lakers, the Clippers, who are also based out of LA, have had to go through similar struggles.

Despite feeling emotional after the defeat, JJ Redick managed to ask Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul if they could sign his kids’ jerseys, which they were more than willing to do. Along with his rental home, Redick lost many valuables, along with his wife and children. He admitted that he cried to his wife upon realization that he and his family lost many irreplaceable items which carried so many memories.
