Things are finally lining up well for the Golden State Warriors after a terrible stretch in November and fans think it is because Steve Kerr finally found the right combination for his starting five. It does not bode well though for Jonathan Kuminga.

The Dubs, who are still without their superstar Stephen Curry, got their second straight win after taking care of business against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. They also registered a win against East giants Cleveland Cavaliers. They lost a nail-biter to the Philadelphia 76ers, 98-99, before that.
One notable change that happened to the Warriors is the insertion of Pat Spencer to the starting line-up. The 2020 undrafted guard has been balling in the past four games and is even getting compared to Jeremy Lin.

He is averaging 16 points in the past four games and was hitting clutch shots time and time again.
Pat Spencer over the last 4 games:

5.8 APG
4.0 RPG
59.1% FG
75.0% 3P

Pat Spencer was arguably the greatest college lacrosse player of all time… then casually played a year of college hoops and now he’s “that motherfucker” in the NBA.
Incredible stuff

His recent plays earned him a praise from star teammate Jimmy Butler.
Jimmy Butler: “Pat’s been hooping. Love what I’m seeing from Pat. BP was out there doing his thing today. Buddy still can’t shoot from the left corner. But all in all, I think we’re starting to figure out who we are.” pic.twitter.com/hsCWgm7wZX

Jonathan Kuminga has no problem with DNP
Spencer is carving himself a role in the and in effect making Kuminga unsable. At least in the last game.
Kerr played down Kuminga’s benching saying it can happen to anyone. The player feels the same. He does not have an issue with the DNP as long as they are winning.
Here’s Jonathan Kuminga’s full five-minute postgame availability on his DNP
“We just switched certain things. That’s all.”
“I’m not really sure (how long it lasts), but as long as things are working out there and we winning, I don’t see the point of switching anything.” pic.twitter.com/Ug6MCHMNsd

Kuminga is currently suffering a rough stretch since returning from a 5-game absence. He still got significant minutes in the four games before the Bulls but he struggled big time in the field, shooting below 40 percent in many of those games.
