JuJu Watkins has been trending for a while, not only because of her ACL injury in the NCAA second-round game between the USC Trojans and the Mississippi State Bulldogs but also because of an innocent interaction that she had with Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders quarterback. After exchanging a few words with Daniels from the seat next to him, viewers were surprised to see that the QB’s mom, Regina Jackson, soon separated the two.

With Jackson in between her and Daniels now, Watkins continued to talk to the quarterback’s mother, and had her conversation with the Washington Commanders’ star cut short. The internet had a field-day with numerous people trolling Jackson for her over-protectiveness of Daniels, with many going on to create memes out of the whole situation. Former NFL player Jalen Rose’s daughter, Mariah Rose discussed the same in her ‘Hoops for Hotties’ show.

“Jayden Daniels’ mom is going viral and for all the wrong reasons,” Rose said. “The reason everyone’s making this such a big deal is because it’s publicly known that Jayden Daniels’ mama don’t play about her son. She doesn’t want her son getting snatched up by a 40-year-old BBL bandit. I get it. But I don’t think Mama was trying to protect her son from JuJu Watkins. If anything, this was probably her seat in the first place. JuJu Watkins is a 19-year-old millionaire, a hooper, and has just as many followers as her son.” Mariah Rose said on ‘Hoops for Hotties’.

Mariah Rose remarked that Regina Jackson did not mean anything by sitting in her seat in between JuJu Watkins and Jayden Daniels. However, she did mention that Jackson has been recorded mentioning that she is quite concerned with other women preying on her son.

JuJu Watkins’ USC Trojans To Play Against Kansas State In Sweet 16

On another note, JuJu Watkins’ team, the USC Trojans, will be heading to the Sweet 16 round in the March Madness tournament to play against the Kansas State Wildcats. While USC is coming off a spectacular win against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the second round of the NCAA tournament, Kansas State is fresh off a win against the Kentucky Wildcats.
