Peterson is from Northeast Ohio but plays high school basketball in Napa, California. Many thought he could commit to Ohio State, but he decided he wanted to play for one of the best teams in all of college basketball.
Kansas is one of the best teams every year in landing the best players in the country, and even though Peterson won’t be heading there until the 2025-2026 season, the Jayhawks can still win it all this year.
The Jayhawks are one of the heavy favorites to cut the nets down next April, and if they do, it will be their second title in the last four seasons.

Head coach Bill Self is one of the best in the game, and Peterson can play for a coach that has gotten many players to the next level.
It will be interesting to see how Kansas does this year and then next season with Peterson. There is a great chance they will make the Final Four both times.
